Just jumping into this topic. I am also in search for RX sun glasses, and I've heard about Rudy Project. Are they comparable to Oakleys?

Your best bet would be to go to a good optical shop with your prescription, and see what frame choices are available to you. I really liked the Oakleys, but they couldn't be made with my prescrition (too much curve to the lens, or something like that). I ended up with a Ray-Ban frame and transitions lenses (love the transitions, no need to carry different glasses for different light conditions).

Anyway, most of the time I wear my glasses with Transition lenses. Heck, I recently saw a Transition lenses advert. with Tyler Farrar promoting them. WTF? Hehehe.
You know what? You can get prescription lenses with color tint in it. You don't have to stick with "sunglass" frames. It is just the lenses that matters.

I use these as my riding glasses, minus the "climate control" insert. Prescription transition lenses, so they can be used at all times.

Oakley Rx's are excellent. I spent a year riding with Oakley Rx sunglasses, fantastic optics, good cover. Just recently I switched back to using disposable contacts with non-Rx sunglasses - and like that better. You get lighter weight sunglasses and of course they're cheaper.

I'm ordering a pair of Oakley Radar Pitch (for my Asian nose). I'll be using it for both indoor and outdoor so I ordered two lenses for it. I'm not sure what the prices are cuz my sister's an optometrist and is hooking me up. If you know your prescription, you can order through a few website and ebay.

-4 and -5; couldn't get prescription wraparounds due to mad astigmatism. I have Adidas wraps with prescription inserts. Felt a bit drunk until I got used to them, but having the full coverage is worth it. Used to get headaches using clip-ons, since they didn't block glare from top and sides. Aaand, for that price, I should have bit it and bought contacts, but I like being able to hide behind my glasses.
