Tommasini production year
I have a Tommasini TT bike and am trying to determine the approximate year the frame was built. What looks like "C5 US" is stamped on the bottom bracket. Bike was given to my father about 20 yrs ago before he did his first half ironman and we think the bike was about 15 yrs old at that time. Very interesting (and uncomfortable) bike...wheels are 700 rear & 650 front. Any guidance would me much appreciated!

The 700 650 wheel combo would place it as mid to late 80's which would match your timeline. Some good pics will be needed for better dating.

I'd place this 1990-1991 as it doesn't have the painted logo, which started circa 1992 model year, and that style paint scheme was introduced for the 1990 model year. Interesting that it uses an Oria tubeset. I'll PM our Tommasini expert, so he can add his opinion. Pic assist...
