Welcome! They're out there. You just have to have faith and be relentless in searching Craigslist and FB Marketplace. There's also yard sales and especially estate sales. Good luck!

*edit*

I just searched the LV CL and found a '90s Serotta Colorado and an '80s Jamis Dakota, a Bottechia and tandems by Cannondale and Trek, a Kastan BMX frameset with single-sided fork (never seen one those for sale) and an ancient three-speed purchased decades ago by some guy's 91 year-old granddad.

You must not be looking.

*further edit*

Okay, I just went to the second page of the listings and saw a PX10, a Miyata 1000, and a Trek 720, some recumbents and a bike with a bolt-on motor kit. Get busy, dude.

H**Y CRAP!

Ef me, if this were just a 58, I would be stripping my gears trying to make this happen, very tempted any way.

Great price imo, too bad the fork is drilled, hope it doesn't end up as a fixie.

It will be interesting to see how long this lasts.

Were it a 58, I wouldn't have posted it, as that's about the lower limit for my size. Still, I am tempted as well...
(Posting here is often, to some extent, an effort on my part to exorcise that temptation. Sometimes it even works!)

All the examples I've seen from the 70's have drilled front forks. I'm entirely guessing they came that way, extrapolating from an admittedly small sample, but await and anticipate correction.

(Apropos of nothing, I noticed a way too tiny 80's or 90's Trek 520 (Touring) for $50 on the FB this morning ten minutes after it was posted, and by the time I was set to post it here, 5 minutes later, it was marked "Pending." A few more minutes passed and it was gone altogether.
"Things come and go so quickly here...")

Agreed, but I have seen a couple that were not drilled, pretty sure most that were originally ordered and sold to racers for racing were not drilled and I suspect some were drilled after the fact.

Here's a couple of Green ones and yes the 2nd one is a 65 so....

And yep my lower limit for this could be 58 and that was my limit until a couple of years ago, my new limit is maybe 60-62 unless it is a deal like this.

My last 4 are 63+ and they ride so much better for me.

If only they hadn't just permanently closed the Alpenrose velodrome.
