Saw this one in a Norfolk VA shop about 30 years ago, a home market Miyata oldie (even at that time) that I would have bought just to have. Made other bad decisions since.

I can't post pictures yet, but I have a 1985 Miyata ninety in silver with blue decals that I absolutely love.
I know it's a low-end Miyata, but I love to ride it, it's so comfortable and it looks great.

1984 blue 110
Just finished this - I think it's pretty much as original; new tyres, brake pads, chain, cables, tape, and housings (and the turkey levers were just held on with a large screw):

Miyata 310
This thread hasn't been updated in 2 years, wow. I just picked up a beautiful 1981 Miyata 310 that I rebuilt for my nephew. I built him a 1988 Specialized Rockhopper a few years back and decided it was time he "graduated" to drop bars.
I like how well built and how intelligently designed Miyatas are. The Miyata 310 was near the bottom of the line but it is a very good design with a chrome moly main triangle, very good suntour derailleurs, a neat centering device on the sidepull brakes, good quality wheels, and very good MKS pedals. The bike was in almost showroom shape when I picked it up. I overhauled it. The only things changed were the brake cables and housing and the saddle. The bike had good tires (27 x 1 and 1/8 continental ultrasport) and tape when I bought it.

absolutely! these were my first braided fabric cables and I wasn't quite sure what to make of them. very floppy--and the excessive length made it worse! I now have two bikes that need their cables shortened. One time making them too short and I still overcompensate.

Found this Flamingo 24” unicycle at the local thrift store a couple of months ago. As found:
Needs a new tube, and I’ll want to check the true of the wheel.
Hanging on a peg in the shed for now, will be a family project to see who’s the first that can make a lap around the cul de sac.
