Cannondale Criterium w/Shimano Ultegra 600 Group, More

I found this today at a local thrift store. It's a Cannondale Criterium Series with some high end parts including:
Shimano / Ultegra 600 group set
MKS EX-1 pedals w/Alfredo Bindo straps
Modolo Flash Aeronautical handlebar
Wolber T430 Alpine rims

How do I tell how old it is?
The Shimano 600 parts are actually Ultegra because of the tri color bar on them?
Any idea of it's value in this condition & with these parts?

Thank you in advance for any help!

It's a 1988. That's the only year they used the "Criterium Geometry" sticker on the seat tube.

In my area of California, I would expect to see a used bike like that one, for sale for $300-400. You could expect to get $350, maybe. I would keep it, those frames are FAST.

I suspect the Tricolor 600 parts were likely put on later, those came with 105 IIRC.

I take that back about the 600 Tri-Color. Cannondale did have a model that used it, but it's 7 speed Tri-Color 600, rather than 8 speed.

At a thrift shop?? Wow, you found a gem. If you like spirited road riding, it wont take you long to like it. I have that same year Criterium and love it. Have fun!

Thank you all!
Serial number is 53122987059 - doesn't that make it a 2987?
Again thanks, your help is much appreciated!

Nope, something built that late in 87 would be an 88 model.
It's clearly an 88 SR800, seven speed 6400 Tricolor, looks to be very original and lightly used.
Very nice bike.

I had no idea a seven speed 600 tricolor group even existed. You learn something new every day.

Probably not gonna make $$$ much selling it, may as well ride it.
