Uh oh, it's delayed in Memphis? Clearly Vol has something to do with this.

I watched the everesting video. Just jra would do the trick, for me.
The issue, in part, aside from the pain caused by vibration, is that the blood flow in there has not yet normalized. It takes very little rise in heartrate to realize this. How long that will take to normalize is anybody's guess. Also, the nerves are slowly coming back, but in an odd way. Anywhere the finger is touched, it sets off an internal high frequency buzz, sort of, throughout. It might just BE the first of the year until normalcy returns.

On my way into work today, the Saturn was acting funny. The power was obviously stuttering. Initially I was askeered the clutch was going, but I saw the check engine light was flashing intermittently so I am guessing there is some moisture in the ignition system that is causing the problem (it was wet out there). I have the car at the shop, fingers crossed it's an easy and simple fix.

Well that's the tradeoff when trying to keep an old car alive . . . you either pay the car dealer or the mechanic.

Although I'm sometimes tempted to get a Z3 or the like, in which case I'd have to pay real money for parts

No. Well, not a whole new bike. I'm jumping ship for a time from riding strictly C&V. This is the last shipment for my next build- it's my power meter and the Garmin Varia tail light. Hopefully this weekend there will be pics if the weather holds.

Man! It is humid out. One more day then a Canadian front comes through late tomorrow. Dries out the air and drops the temperature. Promised myself I’m going to ride both days.

Ok, but let me put my question another way. Is it that air just occupies space in the tubes at atmospheric pressure, and that for each note the musician wants to create he needs to move all that stagnant air up to a certain speed? Or is it that the air in the tubes is held under pressure until the musician pushes it just a small amount to make a note? It just doesn’t seem possible that the human lungs can push all that stagnant air against the inherent drag of all those narrow tubes for each note he wants to play. But if so, that’s incredible.
One of the exercises I work on is playing rapid lip slurs for as long as I can on one breath. Even in the not great shape I'm in now, I can sometimes play 45 seconds on one exhale.

I was driving a '63 bug in the early 80s. It got to the point that EVERY time I went into town, I had to first crawl under it for some reason or other. And again before coming back home.
