Fourth of July: red, white, and blue bikes

It's U.S. Independence Day -- show us your red, white, and blue bikes.

I already know I am not the only one here with one. My Schwinn mountain bike is my daily driver / grocery hauler, but it is also a lot of fun in a parade. Extra points because it is one of the last made-in-USA (Greenville NC) Schwinns, and because I bought it used from a San Diego firefighter.

I was so wet and cold I didn't realize I took the picture of the wrong side!

'71 Paramount P13. Not a great deal of white, but plenty of red and blue.

Just received this one the other day, so it’s not built up yet.
I promise it will be ready for next year.

Awesome paint job! Love it! What are you planning to build it up with? Keeping it vintage or modern group?

Well my plan today was to take out three of the patriotic bikes. Was going to hit each little town up here on a different bike. But the rains showers just keep coming today. Looks like it's going to be the first time in years I haven't ridden on the 4th.

This was going to be the Eden leg

This was going to be the Huntsville leg

This was going to be the Liberty leg.

I even added the red and blue finishing tape today as I got this ready. Was going to run a stripe of white tape down the middle of the two but couldn't find it.

That is hot! Reynolds 653 or 753? I'm guessing 753 with the mid 80's fork crown.

I think the first picture is new, the second is a repost from a prior red-white-blue thread.

I don't have any bikes with all three colors, but I have three American made bikes that incorporate the red, white, and blue. I did wear a red jersey the other day when I rode the blue and white Schwinn.

1988 Trek 400T
