Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's the Revenio 3.0. It has compact 34/50 and 12-30 10 speed.

Absolutely beautiful. Even the garage door is beautiful.
What's the setup on that thing?

It's all 105 throughout. Good bang for buck bike. I'm just starting out with road bikes, and I think the Revenio is a great bike to learn on. How do you like you 2.1? It was the other bike I looked at, but just fell in love with the Revenio.

Whar are you? Five?
You should have learned a long time ago. From then on it is just training.
Nice bike BTW.

That's why I can't find training wheels for the thing! Any suggestions for a substitute?

And thanks!

I have mixed feelings on the 2.1. I prefer the Endurance/coast-to-coast/roubaix/relaxed geometry better. I love the APEX drive components with these crazy hills around here. My first bike was a 2011 Giant Defy 2. It had perfect geometry but the gearing was terrible. It was stolen.
Your bike is a relaxed geometry too isn't it? I absolutely love the look and I love the CNC over painted milling of the big ring up front. Really a beautiful bike.

It is a Tiagra cassette, which is absolutely fine. Hills are steep here. a 172.5 crank length, 12-30 cassette and compact front would be perfect here. I'm going to have to remember this bike for after my 2.1 gets stolen. LOL.

Oh no, my cranks aren't in the proper position either... never mind the valve stems being all over the place, and the chain is in a practical gear. I hang my head in BF shame. I'll just go ride this thing instead *ho hum*

Beautiful bike by the way - enjoy riding it!!!!

Top tube is more traditional, and the seatpost wedge design is different, otherwise a lot like the Foil.

Infact all the important geometry is exactly the same, just that the bb center -> seattube center is taller, thus making the top tube and seat stays longer, effective top tube reach and stack are the same though.

How does the new 2012 Red FD works with the rest of the older Red components?

Better than the old FD compatibility-wise you just have an extra superfluous half shift in the front brifter.
