Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I regret not ever seeing them in concert BITD.
saw them a few times back in the day - first show was sorta/kinda raw - last show was more elaborate with backing members …

outstanding

first show in pgh was at a small dive - water leaking from the ceiling overhead (Andy Summers not pleased) … apparently they were traveling in a borrowed station wagon or van and rented equipment for their gigs

I saw them right after that lp was released with the Go Go's opening up just as they were breaking - good timing. For indoor riding or anytime a good cadence song is needed the constant bass line in Demolition Man is excellent for 6 minutes

Do you kill conversation as you walk into the room?

Great song.

Madone is super smooth, and accelerates quickly. The front wheel appears off center. I need to talk to trek about that. When I look down while riding, I can see more of the left side of the front wheel then the right side of the front wheel. If I look at the wheel from the front it appears centered too the fork.
Measure it, fix it in your mind that it's centered, then quit looking at it. If it's not centered, get it centered. Otherwise, you're a crash waiting to happen.

Bruv, why did you have to say that right after he got a new superbike? Now he's doomed, and it'll all be on you.

Well, out I go to do some shopping. I like the last minute shopping with a hint of panic.

We share an Amazon account with our kids. This year, anyone who wants to know what they are getting can just go to the "Orders" section of the website. No surprises.

Is she taking daily prednisone?

best wishes for a speedy recovery for your wife phrantic09. Hope she enjoys the trainer! Which model? Sounds like she is an endurance athlete. Does she have a history with cycling?

I am feeling somewhat fatigued. Lilly had a tough night last night, trouble sleeping. Fortunately for me, I have the day off from work on leave, so I can probably still get one of my hard days in on the trainer. Otherwise I'd for sure need to skip that. Was able to sleep in a bit. Gonna wake her and mom in a few min.

Heidi wants a new, faster MacBook computer. It was suggested I take her to the Apple store in Delaware to save on the sales tax.

The only one in Delaware is in the Christiana Mall. What kind of an idiot would go to a big shopping mall the week before Xmas?
