I hate cold rain, 40 and down with rain stinks. I don't mind wind, but I am a strong rider.

Today's conditions in St. Paul were some of the least enjoyable in which I've ridden.
Had a bit of snow last night that turned into an icy, slushy mess and, of course, chaos ensued. I stayed on both wheels, but I don't think I've sustained such a death grip on my bars ever before.

My most favoriout weather condition to hate are the **** filled transition periods between winter and summer where it's like -10 to 10 degrees outside. Too hot for water based stuff to be always solid/dry so it can melt and make water, slush and **** everywhere, brakes feel always wet and full of fail no matter what (Do I ever lurve my coaster brake tho!), and **** can freeze back up making patches of ice that also suck cock and it can rain at near freezing cold because nature hates me. Tho it's neat to get off the bike with the rain frozen on your coat into a sorta shiny armor tho but that's about the only good part of it, also it melts and makes the coat wet when you go inside. That period of the year sucks, I wish winter were like a switch flipped at a specific date for either -20 or 20 degrees instantly, and we could have like a week long holiday during the melt period, like an national "**** you nature" holiday. It would take hella powerful HVAC I think to do it but tha

Wind is the worst. I can deal with just about anything else. Here in Cleveland the wind constantly blows in from the lake and it makes for some truly miserable commutes.

warm mornings that make me forget to look for spots of ice that have remained in the shadows and have yet to melt.
hit one of those the other day when I wasnt expecting it and did a full rotation of my pedals without any increase in velocity. I can't believe I stayed up

fresh snow if fine as you can cut through it.
but hard packed snow is really tricky and riding gets hairy as you have to follow car tire tracks.
I call it quits when it turns into an ice rink outside. I'd much rather have cold rain or heat as you can still pedal without having to feel like you just might dump it at the next intersection.
