interesting, idk if i like it... it seems pretty interesting, maybe i would be a little more awesome if the price tag wasn't that high

My school actually built a bike like that called the "Carbon Cadillac" The riders sat back to back and had a carbon fiber streamliner body. Pretty cool actually. I'd take some pics of it but I was talking to some of the students and professors and it's disappeared out of the engineering hall...

Just so you guys know, TT/triathlon bikes have track ends because they like to jam the wheel as close to the seat tube as possible for aero benefits. Bikes with vertical dropouts have to make allowances for all kinds of tire sizes. But, TT bikes often will run something as slim as 19c tires.

i would have to agree. while a silver wheelset may have been a better choice, the important thing is that it appears to be ridden. that is much better than wasting away. (which many vintage bikes are doing)

Stop apologizing. I've been away for a while, so I was just reading through the thread before I was gonna post it myself. I love my jackass bike.
It had just rained, so I was able to push the stand into the ground for a proper "wheels down" shot. Usually it sits with one wheel in the air. I like to park it next to the motorcycles downtown and stand next to it with the front wheel spinning.
LMAO
Pride is a sin, so I'll claim "happy jackass."

Spinning. . . by MyCuteLife, on Flickr
This will be all built up soon too:
Titanium Track Frame (60cm) by MyCuteLife, on Flickr (read the full description, just mocked up, the seat sits way further back)
Just gotta thread the Ti Kestrel steer tube for the Ti Chris King grip nut. That bike's too big for me, but Zoe's got a 39" inseam. It'll be geared 42/15 on the inner ring, for proper chainline. I may cut the teeth off the outer gear so it's a fancy ROTOR logo'd pants-guard.

Love the Ti action too. I'd probably just scooch the saddle back 1.5cm and get a 130 - 150mm stem if it was mine.

That was in the "other" thread.
Who knows about this? MASHxConcept? I'd tap that.
