Are SRAM 10sp and 11sp cranks equal?

I currently have a SRAM Apex 2x10 crank and wanted to swap it with a SRAM Force 2x11 crank. My question is are these two a direct swap and will it work with my regular 10sp Apex front derailleur? Are the spacings, offsets etc all compatible with each other? Has anyone done this before and had no issues? I am pretty sure the bottom brackets will be the same for both (PF30). TIA...
