To all beginner and intermediate riders:
Sick of getting dropped on rides(like me), late jump on training for the season, scared of riding in big groups or just want to learn the basics of riding with a group? Well you’re in luck, starting Tuesday April 2nd and Saturday April 7th I will be leading groups of riders for just this.
Two different local areas ride’s two times a week. Tuesdays will start from Waukesha (at my office)(Centec Security W228 N727 West mound Drive Waukesha, WI) at 5:45pm and head around Pewaukee Lake, not the whole way around to start but each week the rides will get longer and longer in distance until we can complete the entire loop.
Saturday’s ride will start in Thiensville (Extreme Ski and Bike parking lot) at 9am and will start in distance around 15 to 20 miles and gain distance as the weeks go on.
These rides will be a true “NO DROP” ride. These are rides to build skills and the basics needs for all riders and will be based as such week by week.
What kind of bike do I need to have you ask? Any bike will do Road, Mountain or Hybrid. These rides are about building strength and confidence through the season and making friends that enjoy cycling just like you.
So if you’re interested please let me know at spinninmud(at)yahoo.com so I can get a rough head count.
Thank you and hope to see you on the road.

You gonna eat that?
Get a Facebook account.
Friend local riders.
Start a group on FB to share information about your ride.
Invite other riders to group.
Don't worry about what level they are at; if they ride, invite them. There other riding friends will see the invites and it will reach a wide audience.
That's pretty much how Arab Spring was conducted. It was pretty effective.
