Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

D2R2 2018.. Who's in?

Anyone else doing D2R2? This is my first year doing it. I've done a few VT gravel rides but this is first D2R2 . Have my Focus Mares CX with a 11-36 cassette for all the up.

I'm doing the 70mi version . I still have to print out the cue sheet and get the GPS loaded. 1 week

I am doing it. I'm looking for a potential ride back to either the Boston or North Shore area after the ride on Saturday. My friends are going back on Sunday and could take my bike, so anyone offering a ride would only need room for a human, not a bike. I'm happy to pay in gas or beer!

Also, know anyone who is still waffling about coming on the ride, or planning to buy a $180 day-of ticket? I have an extra $100 early-bird-priced ticket (that's signed up for the 125K mystery but could be used for any other ride if desired!), with camping pass too, that my friend can't use. Would love to get $100 for it but honestly would take anything!

My phone number is six wun sevvin sevvin ate oh fyve wun tree ate -- even if you can't offer a ride and don't want the ticket, I'd be psyched to meet up with people to ride with or just have a beer with.

I did the 100k the past two years. It is a great ride. I am sure you'll have a lot of fun on the 70mi! Last year I was signed up for the 125K Mystery route but punted to the 100K because none of my friends wanted to do the mystery ride with me. This year I am thinking I may do the 125K alone and make some new friends.

70mi actually up to 77 now according to the 115km map. Looks like a bit of wetness to start the day too..

my friend was trying to get a bike in time but it doesn't look like he did it lol I told him about your entry though.

How'd it go? I rode with a few guys from the Blue Hills club in your neck of the woods.

Also got roped into doing VT Overland this weekend since a friend is riding CX the same day and can't use her spot recovery all week!
