It doesn't boost my ego. It must be my Germanic nature but I don't see it any different than pointing out an obvious error. I get no satisfaction from it.

^^ the article is about "Mass bikes", not fake bikes. I've ridden to Mass on a bike but the article isn't very useful. The photo of the bike with deep section wheels and the woman with her dress falling off is nice though. Maybe she is getting ready to change into her stylish Rapha Pro Series summer weight bibs and Chpt III Forcibi 1.21 jersey (which is on sale at Sigma Sports for $89) or maybe she is a former Assos model pining for the fiords.

The photo in the OP however, shows real bikes - tires, pedals, chains - they go down the road and are completely rideable. They are not props or made of paper mache. The models have their clothes on, which is also good, given the setting.

Oh good, a Walmart troll posting. Now all this thread needs is a post about Lance Armstrong giving PDEs to unleashed dogs.

I am confused. Why would one complain about the pictures at the Olive Garden without mentioning the Barfaloni alla Pukachini that comes with authentico unlimited, soup, salad and breadsticks and a jug of Gallo wine. At least the picture has bikes and the bikes look better than the food.

OP likes OG. Big deal, no reason to get snide.

Let's turn this back to biking. Are unlimited breadsticks a good way to cure a bonk?

Ahh, but there is a "reason" why some posters inject gratuitous OT snide comments about other people's preferences. See https://www.bikeforums.net/20800743-post120.html

I take a lot of pride in the fact that I would never do something like criticize someone for eating at Olive Garden. I'm much better than that.

Someone had to mention how terrible Olive Garden is. I mean maybe if you called it fast food pasta you could make out better

Not hating on the OP though, I love Taco Bell which loses all the bike pictures and fake Italian charm and replaces them with hot sauce packets and the schitts. However I won't give up my fresco bean burritos add potatoes or bean crunchwraps also add potatoes and those delicious cinnamon twists.

I said too much. Any who I bet unlimited breadsticks will cure the bonk. I would go for breadsticks and red sauce on a ride. Would be a fun alternative to gels and blocks.

Just personal preference, mind you, but I would call OG mediocre and Taco Bell downright disgusting. My reason for avoiding OG would be that it is a much worse value than most local Italian places. My reason for avoiding Taco Bell is that I don't smoke pot, and the local burrito place is always 100 times better, even in New England.
I'm not above low-end chains, mind you. I'd be going to White Castle if there were any around here, and Wendy's is pretty good.

I'd probably still go to Shakey's Pizza if there was still such a thing around here just because of the childhood associations..
OMG! I have great childhood memories of Shakey's. Didn't know it was a chain and I've never met anyone else who knew of it (mine was in Atlanta).

...and btw drive by sarcasm is my favorite sport.

Edit: Still in business!
Shakey's Pizza is a pizza restaurant chain based in the United States. Founded in 1954, it was the first franchise pizza chain in the United States. In 1968, the chain had 342 locations. The chain currently has about 500 stores globally, and 51 in the United States. Wikipedia

There are tons of better burrito places but there is something about Taco Bell that just keeps me going back.

I don't know if they have a Taco John's where you live but it's fairly decent Tex-Mex fast food. Kind of like a cleaner, tastier version of Taco Bell.

False. Only so called "single-use" plastic bags are outlawed, which immediately implies free bags. Once the store starts charging the customer a few cents per bag, they are legally allowed to call them "reusable" and just keep using them. Lots of stores in California still offer regular plastic bags to customers.

Target is an example of a large store chain that packs stuff in ordinary plastic bags at their checkout registers.

Sometimes you love a restaurant not so much for it's food, but for the time spent with your Father. Even at 89, my Father loved going to Olive Garden for their Soup and Salad lunch. He always ordered Minestrone. Salad with no croutons and extra tomatoes. I have yet to go there since his passing last year, but soon. His birthday is Feb 28, so I'll be going to another favorite- Steak n Shake. He lived for those black & white milkshakes! Sigh

Sadly no Taco John's but I don't go to Taco Bell for cleanliness I go because I crave it. It is something magical in the crap.
