Hello, Need Help!! Fixie People...Where You At ?!?!?

Hey Everyone, I'm New To the Site. I'm From L.A
--My Question Is...What's The Best Gear Ratio For Climbing Hills.?--

°Right Now I'm Riding A "BreakBrake17 Karma" Frameset W/ Sram Omniums 165mm
& F.S.A Chainring 48T.
16T All-City Cog
°48T-16T Is My Gear Ratio...

**I Had Hear That,
°44T-16T Is A Good Ratio For Climbing & Still Have That Top Speed...True??
Thanks In Advance.

Welcome. I am a trackie. Generally, a one tooth change on the big ring corresponds to a 2 rpm cadence difference to achieve the same speed. Going from 48 to 44 would require 8 rpm more for the same speed.
