Two flats on my commuter, with Panaracer T-Serv tires. No idea what caused them - I came out from work at the end of the day and found a flat tire waiting for me. The second one was probably due to not getting whatever caused that flat out of the tire, since I had the second flat only a couple days later.

I am at over 7k miles with no flats. I wear out rear tires without once having a flat. Conti Gatorskins.

Goatheads grow in my front yard. I've pulled about 6 of them this summer. I don't ride off road so I avoid them.

Got another one today, I think I'm at 9 or 10 for the year. To save on CO2 I filled it at a Mobile station 75 cents for air! Will be carrying a couple more CO2 cartridges tomorrow.

Celebrating my most flat free year of commuting I can remember. Zero - over 1800 miles.

GO Conti Ultra Gatorskins! 25mm x 110psi

On the other hand I've had 5 flats on my road bike (not commuting) this year. I'm a little unhappy about that.

2 flats this year on Panaracer Pasela Tourguard and Nashbar regular butyl tubes. One flat commuting from a roofing nail that would have shredded most tires, one flat from a tiny metal pin on a weekend long ride. About 4,500 miles year to date. No Tuffys or liners, and I don't swerve out of the way to avoid little bits of junk in the bike lane or shoulder either. I sure like those Park tire boots to hold the tire together for a while if you get the type of flat where something rips a big gouge in the tire. I like my heavy Zefal pump aka dog protection stick too.

0 this year on the commuters. Regular Schwalbe Marathon 26x1.9's on one and 26x1.5's on the other.

My front lawn has more goathead plants than grass, but the thorns never seem to get past the kevlar belt. I pull them out of my tires when I see them though.

I was holding at 2 flats 'til recently when I hit a tiny patch of goat head thorns. I decided to keep patching leaks until leaking stopped. Used over 20 patches on the two tubes.

25 so far, and counting. The good news is that I've only had two in the six weeks or so since I switched to the Vittoria Randonneurs, so the situation is improving. I was on course for 50+ at one stage.
