Marin Bobcat Trail Advice Needed ASAP!
Hi,
I want to buy a Marin Bobcat Trail today and was wondering if these bikes are any good?
This is what I know:
7005 Aluminum Frame with InSync Grind 323 fork
Shimano Acera shifters and f and r deraileurs
Shimano Disc Brakes
I can get if for $350. Is this a good deal? It retails for $475 I believe so it's $100 off. Please let me know ASAP b/c he only has 1 left.
Thanks!
Oh and BTW, I know Acera isn't top notch components and that the fork and brakes probably aren't the greatest, but is this a good overall beginner entry-level bike? Thanks!

It's a great beginner bike. That fork totally sucks though. I've tried Shi*mano discs and they arn't very great either. Sounds like a great deal, I'd definately go for it.

I own a Marin and love it to pieces. It is a great bike. Light enough to get up hills easily but strong enough to take some technical xc riding. The welding is very clean. I don't know much about the Bobcat Trail, but my Nail Trail has been great. The people at Marin are also great about sending parts directly to you instead of going through your lbs.
