Got it, now where do I keep it??
Just brought my new Litespeed C3 home from the shop. Now my question is where and how do you store your bike? I don't want to put it outside with the lawnmower but my wife looked at me like I was crazy when I suggested that I'll keep it in the den. What do you guys/girls do with your bikes?

I keep the less expensive ones in my garage. I keep 3 of the most expensive ones in our bedroom. We have a pretty large bedroom, and luckily, my wife is an avid cyclist as well, so she doesn't mind.

Throw the stick!!!!
I've actually got a storage room just for bikes but since it is upstairs I keep my most ridden bike either in my fish room (300 gallon and a 210 gallon aquariums) or sometimes it even stays in the kitchen.

hows that working out for you? I figure it can go two possible ways:
::look at bike:: I can have that extra slice of pizza since I'll be on the bike.
::look at bike:: I can't have that extra slice of pizza since I'll be on the bike.

I cleaned out my infant sons closet and was able to fit both bikes in there. I'm planning on cleaning my downstairs storage unit and putting them in there shortly.

I keep mine in the family room. Get a decent looking stand for it so she won't mind as much. If you just live it leaning on something, she might see it as just clutter.

Nice bike always lives inside the house. Mine's in the living room, but I am a bachelor.

Actually I look at it and think about how hard I worked to burn those calories so it would be pretty stupid of me to have that extra slice of pizza. So I grab another beer instead.

In the 2nd bedroom/office using one of these racks - https://www.amazon.com/Delta-Cezanne-...134446&sr=8-13. Lets me keep 4 bikes inside a small apartment in a relatively small amount of space.

Good bike goes in the living room where it is easy to get to every day. Others go in the garage.

Unless you've got some of those fancy and delicate carbon wheels, you can't beat a $1 rubberized hardware hook screwed into a ceiling joist. One hangs by said hook next to the laundry. New bike was proudly displayed in the office before wife forced it's relegation to the closet, but it has it's own "bike cave" now, it appears happy.

right next to the front door. my wife tried to get me to hang it up in the office... i told her that's where i'm putting the next bike I buy.
it was suggested I cable it to the bars in front of my parking spot--inside a garage with a gate--and I cut that off mid-sentence with a small, but especially offensive stream of obscenities. 2 days later my neighbor's old, busted, cheap road bike got cut free and liberated from in front of his parking spot.
The silver lining? now my wife is on board with me hanging my bike at the front door regardless of where we end up living. rockin'

All my cycles hang in the garage, right above the work area, tool boxes, etc. Lawn mower, snowblower all that crap is in the outdoor shed. Garage is insulated, climate controlled.

I keep my bikes in a large room in my basement. The Rockhopper stayed outside in the shed last year but I'm not going to put her through that again.

You should keep it in the bedroom. All the things guys like to ride belong there
Mine are all in the garage, but I have a big honking German Shepherd
