Supportive pedals: M8120 vs Saint vs Nukeproof CS

Which ones would you choose when looking for supportive SPD pedals, to be used for long days on mixed terrain?

The use will be mainly cross country, but I want the shoe to be both clipped and resting on a solid platform that I can feel and push onto.

I think one of M8120, Saint or Nukeproof CS would do. Anyone who tested all of them?

TY!

Keep in mind that whether you get good contact with the platform while clipped in is highly dependent on the shoe you use and how recessed the cleat is.

Makes sense. So is there no pedal between the ones above which has the most probability to offer contact?

Finding somebody who has tested every scenario with every pedal will likely be problematic. Either of the downhill pedals you mention will have more interface than the XT Trail pedal

I personally would pick the Saint pedal and walk away. its Shimano. Their pedals are the best

Would have already done, but Saint are like stones for simple touring. That's why I was looking towards M8120.
