Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Townie handlebar on dropped track stem pics?

Because fit reasons for one or two of my bikes, I’m considering an Albatross or other townie style bar non-flipped on a Nitto Jaguar stem… but I’m a bit concerned about how ugly it might end up yet hoping it’ll look at least close to as nice as that bike owned by one tall guy who used to post here that had some kind of pullback bars set well below the saddle.

Google is of zero help.

Albatross

My Schwinn multi gear bike has albatross bars.
If I find a level pic I’ll post it. Think I got something on insta from a couple years ago
