Viscount/Lambert Question
Hoping the great Bike Forums brain can help with this.
I've read plenty of interesting comments and posts here and elsewhere, regarding older Viscount/Lambert bikes .... but come away WITHOUT the definitive answer - as to how to determine which Model in their line-up, I own!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Holding the envelope up to his turban covered head, "What is an Aerospace GP...". He rips open one end of the envelope, brings the torn end to his lips, and blows.

What components are there on your bike?
What wheelset is on your bike?
Are the tires clinchers or sew ups?

The original owner from whom I just purchased the bike, bought it forty and some change years ago. Not thinking about the "value" in maintaining it's original gruppo .... he "upgraded' in a few departments.

does it look like this? Aerospace Pro. they came in (IIRC) in silver and black and silver and blue. I was told BITD that one signified tubular wheels and one clinchers. (i would expect either a chromed steel fork or a full aluminum one)

If your search didn't hit the review below, it might help at least in knowing what models were out there around 40 years ago.

I also have specs for a 1979 Viscount 5000 GS (Bicycling! Buyers Guide of $250 Bikes listing). Here's the table from that article.
Good luck with the ID!

Fotos of Bike with "upgrades."
.... Hoping to definitively determine the Model!
All of the (archival) literature speaks of the "light weight."
I haven't put it on the scales, but my impression is .... not so light.
.... Perhaps then, NOT the Aerospace Pro ???
Thanks in advance.
Original Chainring
Different Bars
TA Chainring?
Clincher (Shreader)

Death fork? Naaaah!!
Aerospace Pro. Like this one, as I got it:
Currently looks like this:
Spokes on mine were also badly rusted; I re-laced the wheels with DB stainless spokes.
And I LIKE the original chainring! Even put one on my Super Sport.

Good looking bike. Apparently some of the Lambert aerospace pros came with an AL fork that was better designed than the ones that famously failed:
