Upgrade Specialized Dolce 8-speed components? Need info on Axis Classic wheelset

Upgrade Specialized Dolce 8-speed components? Need info on Axis Classic wheelset
I just got my wife a Specialized Dolce 8-speed for a great blow-out price. It has the Shimano Claris 2400 8-speed shifters, F/R derailleur and FSA Gossamer Pro 48/32 crankset. I have a spare Shimano 105 full component set (shifters, derailleurs, and crankset) and want to put them on her bike.
However, I can't find any specs about the wheels (Axis Classic "ETRTO 622x16"). Does anyone know if they support 11-speed? Otherwise, I'll need new wheels for her bike.

I don't have any info, but if you have the cassette it would be pretty easy to find out. I'm guessing it is an 8-10 freehub, so it won't work. You might be able to dump the 11t off the cassette and run 10 of 11. Someone who is more familiar might have a better suggestion.
You'll have an extra click or will need to block off the the large cog at 10. There have been discussions of which way is better for the shifters. I have only done this with 7-8-9 speed setups and blocked off the shifter with the limit screw.

Yeah, look behind the cassette to see if there's a 1.8mm spacer. If so--it's 11 speed compatible.
If not, you can omit a cog or buy a HG800 11-34 11 speed cassette which fits on a 10 speed body and a R8000-GS rear derailleur that will work with that large a cassette, if you want.

Got money to burn ?, You need a new Indexed Shifter and they're expensive ..
maybe you just need a new chain & cassette ,,
In the sales speak 'Speeds' is not velocity, its a parts count .. faster is Work, not gained by shopping.

Hey Fiets, ever consider reading the OP? He already has another groupset. His concern is whether the freehub body will fit an 11sp road cassette.

Hey, did you ever get an 11 speed cassette on the Dolce? I am thinking about something similar right now so my wife and I can share a trainer.
