Cool info. I wonder if the 1967 win was really with Simplex Criterium and not Prestige. I see those two get confused online more than any other component models.

Interesting, especially when some top riders were known to ride bikes made by their preferred bike builder, with decals applied to display the team they were riding for.

I'm an equipment freak, and I notice all kinds of details on bikes. But for some reason, when I follow the Tour De France, which I don't do every year, I don't pay attention to the bikes.
