Focus Mares Ax 2 (2015) upgrade paths
Hi people, newbie to the forum here. I have a 2015 Focus Mares AX 2 which I bought as new that year, and I'd like to upgrade some components. Anybody with experience on that specific bike (which has some odd characteristics , in my view) about what is possible? I'm particularly looking to change the wheelset, attempt to do away with the RAT thru axle, which I don't like, and change out the TRP/HY-RD hybrid discs for something fully hydro, with a lot more stopping power. If possible, I'd like a "budget" upgrade option and then a "moneybags" upgrade option for each item,, just to have smthng to play with. Thanks in advance! John from Finland.
