Bicycle Repair Man !!!
Look 296 pedals and cleats for my road shoes... one of the nicest set ups if you want to put down some serious distance and they have adjustable float so you can lock things in when things get a little more serious.

I really like this tape, yeah its the elilementi stuff, I wrapped to cover the logos on it. Im not sure of the match to a honey brown saddle, but it is lighter then a normal brown brooks . Its more of a peanut butter color when streached

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
Picked this up at last Sunday's gear swap... was brand new and never used and the price was such that I did not even bother haggling.

Thanks for the tip! You think riding half-a-year in toeclips will help a little? There's only one way to find out, I guess.

For starters I would lean on a wall/tree or in the middle of a hallway to practice clipping in and clipping out on the bike using the walls for balance; then on the grass without any aid in balance, stopping and going, mounting and dismounting while riding.

Rode on clips and straps for 3 months before switching to clipless. Haven't fallen yet(knock on wood too). Just practice before you go on any serious rides; I find clipping my second foot in to be significantly harder than ever clipping out.

And never unclip both feet while you're still on the saddle. Only made that mistake once.

No matter what, you're going to fall in public, like an idiot, once. That memory will program your ankle reflexes though and you'll never do it again though.
