Frank is done and ready to roll.

This bike is not a Fred, oh no. We went way past Fred and right into Franknbike! The front forks have now been replaced and he is ready to roll. My Charge Spoon saddle will be here next week then I start looking for front and rear racks and panniers. Looking forwards to riding Frank into the ground!

Very nice! It looks like you have got past the bike problems. I love those trekking bars.

Frank looks good. This is tank. Why? Because I rode into steel beams avoiding a man eating dog and it took absolutely no damage... I rode it 50 miles home.

Isn't it fun building a bike just the way you want it be?

Even with the work done this bike is just at $200 total. I just took it for a night spin to try out the Wally World lights. I had a neighbour stop and tell me she could see me two miles up the road! Not bad for a $20 set of lights!

If you want LIGHTS (and who doesn't) you have to try these out - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o04_s00_i00

Cheap and pretty much surface of the sun bright. I can't speak to the longevity yet but ccycommyute swears by them. I got yelled at by a pedestrian the other day.

Bike looks good though, glad you're enjoying it.

Thanks! Those came from Nashbar. All the controls off the originally bar switched straight over. They have done a lot for my wrist pain.
