Time to go running soon. It's 54*. Why is it still 54* for running?

We'll get close to that today, and with plenty of sun. I think that the snow on the ground should melt away today or tomorrow, but I'm not so sure about the snowbanks encroaching the streets. Looking forward to getting out for a ride this weekend, regardless, as my congestion is finally clearing up.

I've used it for routing dynamo wires. Works well enough for that, and I can't remember if we ever had to do it in the shop. We had one special case where a guy was running campy electric on a Cannondale frame. That thing was a monstrosity. But we used the wire cover on that one.

So yeah, I'm getting kind of paranoid now. I think I mentioned it, but sometimes I'll just be sitting at my desk or something and then I feel a sort of tightness in the chest that gives me some pause. It feels like the elevated heart rate. Again, it's so fast that by the time I get my finder to my neck to check my pulse, it's settled or just then settling. It's also super rare. Maybe once every other month at most. But I just felt it again last night while sitting down and relaxing maybe 2 or 3 hours after a bike ride. Everything was fine on the ride.
I'm thinking I might pick up an HR monitor watch that can log data. Hopefully this is all for nothing, but I just don't want to ignore anything. My family history has me on edge enough.

Hutchinson Fusion5 11Storm Tubeless-Ready 25c fits in the back of the S1 (25c Contis won't). Going to be trying the #future shortly.

Use Orange Seal and a few others work well at higher pressures.

If you do get an HR monitor, be sure that it's always monitoring. From what I understand of Fitbit (I just picked up a Charge 2), they only monitor every 5 seconds unless you're actively recording an activity, so there's a chance that it'd miss the episode that you were looking to document.

So I just went through an episode of chest pains, false positive tests, etc.... and then finally a cath, and there's nothing like a doc telling you he could drive a truck through your coronaries to kill anxiety. No chest pains, etc since about a week after the cath.
I use the VivoActive HR, and use it as a bike computer mostly now, too. The wrist HR is good, but unless you're in the middle of an activity it only logs HR like once a minute or so for the rest of the day. Of course if you feel something weird, you can always swipe up to the HR screen and see "right now" at a higher rate. I'm sure Garmin has newer stuff now, but the optical HR functionality will be the same.

From everything I've heard/read, just don't use Stan's sealant (regular or Race) - it doesn't hold at road pressures. I'm amazed to see some Stan's users that think the SOP for road tubeless is to limp home at 40psi, which is when the sealant finally holds, and then patch the tire internally. There's no way in Hades that I'd stick with tubeless if that's what it entailed.

Never watched ITV seems like I should give it a try. All swept up in Babylon Berlin on Netflix.

Yup. Orange Seal has a special particulate in it to help seal and it's suspiciously sparkly; I'd rather buy OS than homebrew - ain't nobody got time for that.

It's actually not that bad and not that uncommon.
In other good news, report of yesterday's scan was normal. Kinda what I expected. Good news is no problems. Bad news is there is absolutely no definitive reason why I had the bowl obstruction a few weeks ago. I am ok with that. Doctors don't know everything. Some of them don't know ANYTHING.

Calm down, you're describing anxiety to a 'T'. It's like a feedback loop with the cardio feelings. You're going to feel a lot better after seeing the doc and he reassures you you won't drop dead tomorrow.

I do dig the idea of an HR watch to use as a monitor during rides. I don't think the high end ones would replace my Edge computer, but I have thought about it. I do have the problem of "go big or go home" with this stuff, though. I'd probably end up swinging a deal for something stupid like a Fenix 5 from the bike shop I worked at as they still hook me up with the discount. Margin is not great on Garmin stuff, so the discount isn't fabulous. But it's also not cheap to begin with.
