New Kit....stimulating the economy

So, here we are stuck in the house. And, since I'm not going out and spending money I have a lot more money. Interesting. Because I'm a patriot I'm stimulating the economy. So far... some Assos knickers and a LS jersey. And, one for my GF. FWIW, I buy Assos because it is what works for me. I've tried them all and Assos is the one that works for me. All I can say is that everything a I have ever bought from Assos has been incredible. All on sale of course. When the economy is saved you can all thank me. You're welcome.

Sorry, I was covid cranky and being sarcastic. 9/10 things I've gotten from Amazon lately probably originated outside the US. In reality, some portion of every purchase you make within the borders of a country, goes towards the economy of that country, even if it's just the transportation costs. BTW: I'm ready to help the CT economy once Mohegan Sun opens back up.

I read your post, and immediately thought, "Great idea- I'd *LOVE* to spend all my money on a bunch of Assos!" And my wife lovingly patted my head, and said, "You already do, every time you pay your taxes."

No worries. I like that "Covid cranky" phrase. I may have to hijack it.

Since the Virocalypse began I've been stimulating the economy via Garmin, Stages, and a couple of unknowable Chinese bib/jersey manufacturers. Just doing my bit.

I’m saving more than ever. Does that mean I’m not patriotic?

Competitive Cyclist seems like a good company. They gotta eat too. I'm planning to buy a few items from them soon, stuff I can't find on Amazon or elsewhere at a reasonable price. I think CC has a sibling/cousin company with even steeper discounts on discontinued items.

Well I can't say anything because our friends at Ortlieb and Arkel raided my wallet recently. Is it too late for me to buy a Support Our Troops ribbon magnet?

Aerotech makes most of its stuff in the USA. I have been very impressed with the quality and comfort of their shorts.

I want to purchase a long sleeve jersey for sun protection from Aerotech but who thought it was a good idea to make L/S jerseys w/o a full zipper?

I called CC to order that jersey for my gf and told them that they had not updated my credit card as they said they had done. This was my 3rd try. They are usually really good with customer service. So the rep gave me a discount. The two previous times I had called to update the card they also gave me discounts. They are my go to.
