Stronglight 107 crank extractor thread?

Stronglight 107 crank extractor thread?
OK I'm nervous--- I just acquired a Motobecane with a Stronglight 107 crankset. I think the bike is circa 1982 or 1983. Does anyone know for sure what the right crank extractor thread is? I have a double-sided tool for older Stronglight on one side-- for 49a/d and 93 etc-- and TA on the other. Neither of these will thread in. My standard 20 year old Park extractor will thread in, but it seems a bit wobbly on the threads, and I'm worried about stripping these cranks, so I haven't tried putting any pressure on the extractor yet.
Velobase lists these Stronglight 107's as having the standard 22x1mm threads--- so should I just go ahead and try with my Park tool?
The joys of French bikes.... once I get these off I will at least tap the pedal threads to 9/16....

Your Park puller with a layer of plumber’s tape might do the job.

yes, 22.0mm should be fine
1977 was the big change year for Verot
models introduced at this time (104, 105, etc.) and subsequently use 22.0
older models use the large remover

the park tool wasn't that well made (tolerance wise) in the first place. if it shows that much wear maybe it is time to
replace it. maybe with a sugino tool or VAR. are you adverse to French pedals? there are some good old stock
pedals for cheap on French ebay still to be had. I always tap the crank arms as the last resort.

I have a Stronglight 107, standard 22 mm puller. Make sure puller is all the way home (threaded in) into crank arm before applying torque.

Got it....
Thanks for all the calming advice--- I've just botched things up before, so I get some trepidations when things are feeling "not quite right"....
But I got the crank off--- the Park puller did the job. As advised, I just snugged it up carefully and then applied torque very slowly to the puller... no problems in the end.
Being a home mechanic is cheaper than going to the LBS.... until it isn't. (And when I'm mad at myself for some "d'oh!" moment, there's really no satisfaction to be had...)
