Experience with Hyperthyroidism - Graves disease

I have hyperthyroidism. I had made a post about this earlier. I am a very dedicated road cyclist. The treatment options might be RAI or Surgery. However, I am extremely scared to gain weight after RAI. I am at 64kg now and 14% body fat. Has anyone had experience with this? Is it possible to keep weight off when you are hypo and you are on synthroid.

Thanks.
