Thank You, Tropical Storm Lee

FINALLY, rain! This is only the second significant rain fall that we've had here in NW Louisiana since April. We've been suffering a horrendous drought and just ridiculously hot temps. all summer.

The mornings are changing, though. It was a comfortable 71˚ at ride time this morning (5:30) with a slight NE breeze stirring. It started raining here around 1 this afternoon so I went out for a second ride and did another 16 miles to go just over 41 on the day.

I have no idea why, but I have always loved riding in the rain as long as it's not so hard that visibiilty becomes an issue and there is NO lightning. Today was perfect, just a slow steady, soaking rain with temps in the upper 80's. Beautiful!

Now I'm home and showered and ready to watch some SEC football tonight. Life is good. Y'all enjoy your Saturday evening.

JR, I hear you guys are getting it kind of hard down there. It's windy here, too. Gusty up to around 30mph. Y'all stay safe and I'll take whatever you can spare. lol
