road bike tires
Seem to recall reading a while back that there was a difference between 27 x 1.25 and 27 x 1 1/4 tires. Can't find it so this is the place to ask! Thanks

Now the industry is specific .. a bead seat diameter in MM is engraved in the mold, used heating
thus vulcanizing the rubber. into being the tire ...
look for 32- 630 , width & BSD...
....

Where did you find a 27x1.25"?
A 27 is a 27, but for other sizes, decimal & fractional ARE different bead seat diameters.
Even then, there are 2 different 26x1-3/8" sizes.
