Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Chucks Bicycle Closeouts - not forgotten.

Have any of you been around long enough to remember a site called Chuck's Bicycle Closeouts? (Chucksbikes.com). Man I loved that place. Once I picked up some Czech (Author) NOS aluminum road frames for $60 apiece! I have yet to find another site on the web that could compile such a wonderful random assortment of dirt cheap products as Chuck's. Tsunami frames, assorted headsets, bars and wheels. Note of it was class "A" product, but if you wanted to put together a beater bike, or just learn how to build a bike for the fun of it, Chuck's was the place to mine for parts on the mega cheap. Has anyone come across a similar site recently?

Blast from the past for sure.
His small warehouse was located accross the street from where I used to work.
Went inside couple of times and bought stuff. It was an interesting place for sure.
My riding buddy still has a Tsunami frame.
