No no, that fork is an upgrade! It's been modified to a new-style carbon fork like on a Pinarello!

two thoughts:
1) If you hadn't ridden with out (sic) breaks, you wouldn't have rear ended the stopped car.
2) it doesn't need breaks,it is already broken.

Not all Canadians are communists. In fact a very very small populace.
I don't make racial slurs against a group of people who have a medical assistance albeit 2 tiered.
Anyways, I would have focused on the comments about meeting people. Being a Constable in training, I think I would have proof read the sales text and curb the biased viewpoints. Hope this doesn't go against his career.

More like this one, see the "S" curve... looking at it again, I see it is a hybrid of the two designs!

Pretty sure that's a mid-90's model.

Which makes it approximately 25 years old. When this forum section was started in 2003, folks were discussing bikes a lot newer than those made in 1978.

The NDS photo and ridonkulous price do qualify for WW, however.

Personally I don't think of something from the mid-90's as "vintage" but I'm also someone who cringes at the thought of Pearl Jam being played on classic rock stations. I suppose it's just an age thing!!

Well, we've been discussing 25-year-old bikes on this forum for about 17 years now. So 10 years ago, would a mid '80s bike have not been "vintage"? Does the minimum age magically increase as time passes? If so, I suppose I'm too young to drink....

I hope I look that good when I'm that guy's age.

Weezer's debut album The Blue Album is 26 years old, which classifies as vintage in bike land. It's still a good, fresh sounding album to this guy born just ten years prior to that (I first heard it a few years after it debuted). So, it's happening to me. I was happy that '50s and '60s oldies stopped getting radio play because my much younger self never liked it and thought it was beyond past time to let it lie. Well now '80s rock, which I do really like, is on the same type of classic station, with '90s stuff playing as well. That's a little crazy, and I'm not a million percent ready for that. Throwback hip hop stations playing songs that were rubbish when they were new. Time has not been kind. It's all a bit surreal to see time and the world slowly start to out-accelerate one's self. I still keep up with a lot of stuff, but if I'm not interested in whatever it is, I might as well be 100 years behind the 8-ball.

Too bad the backwards fork is blocking the part I really want to see: how he mounted a disc brake caliper onto a v-brake fork!

Redshift

It's redder and blurry because it's accelerating towards you.

It's also missing a seatpost and seat.
It also reminds me of a captcha...

It's amazing that a bike that's supposed to be only a few months old has rust on the big chainring. Also looks like they disregarded the minimum insertion mark on the seatpost and possibly ovalized the seat tube.

But to me this is the funniest part on a bike that has the text "Two Nine" "29" and "Alloy" plastered on the frame and wheels. They couldn't figure out what to put in the frame material and wheels size blanks? I guess Two Dide isn't a number.

bicycle frame material: other/unknown
bicycle type: mountain
frame size: I’m not sure
wheel size: other/unknown
