All Chrome fork for 27" wheel - Very Nice Shape

I took this fork off of an early sixties Torpado Professional. I have since installed a more appropriate for and this one, for 27" wheels, is in very good condition. The steering stem = 195mm with a 90mm threaded section.

Price: $40.00 US plus shipping cost.

Also suggest checking and listing the A/C. And rake if you want to deal with measuring. Seen those 27" forks range from 380mm-395mm or more in the couple months last year I spent hunting a replacement for a bike that was ~375mm stock. More rake and 380mm gave me +/- 2mm of height so no discernable diff. Sheldon Brown's site had a recommendation to stay +/-10mm with the same rake to not deviate too much from the original, hopefully horizontal top tube.

Good point and the difference between the 27 that was on the Torpado did slope the top tube up...

I had a not so good 700c fork with fender eyelets sawed off and decided to use that until I get the proper fork (if i ever do)...

There is a considerable difference between the fork lengths. I will get additional information, regarding both the 27 and 700c forks, and add tomorrow. Getting the information, at my place at night is difficult. My "man cave" really is (almost) a cave, The earth's crust actually makes up part of the floor in my shop...

Also, what's the axle to crown distance. I'm considering this for a 650 conversion

Sorry that I forgot the information requested. The price for the chrome fork is $40.00 US plus cost to ship. Hope that is helpful and, once again, sorry that I forgot to include that info at the onset.

The distance from the brake bolt hole is 378mm and the fork lower cone fit = 27mm.
