Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Saddle recommendation: Flatter than Serfas Stinger?

After three years riding the stock mountain bike saddle that came with my OCR2, I finally upgraded to a better saddle. (On a whim, btw, while having a new FD installed at the LBS) At any rate, talked to a helpful guy (Richardson Bike Mart in Dallas) and he set me up with a Serfas Stinger. (Even adjusted a few minot fit issues!)

It's already MILES ahead of the other saddle. Sure, the mtb saddle was comfy but after a while my bits and pieces went numb; not a problem with this one. BUT, I think it might be too rounded for my rear. It feels like more pressure is being put on my tailbone than my "sit bones". It's more evident when I first start but I can still feel a little more middle pressure than I would like by the end of my ride. Again, it's not unbearable but I think there's room for improvement.

That being said, I think a saddle that's flatter would do me good, but about the same width as the Stinger. What do you guys recommend?

I like the selle italia SLR. If you like your serfas the arione might be too long.
