1970s top of the line B. Carre frameset
SOLD
$400 shipped, via Bikeflights to the continental US.
1970s B. Carre frameset, built under contract for the French racing shop "Gautheron".
Seat tube: 52cm CTC
Top tube: 53.5cm CTC
124mm rear dropout spacing.
Finely filed and windowed lugs, crescent-shaped dropout joints, Campagnolo dropouts, and metric Columbus SL tubing. Eyelets front and rear for mudguards.
Pearlescent blue paint and decals are in great shape, with a couple of areas of small paint chips on the chainstays. Comes with French-threaded Campagnolo bottom bracket and headset already installed (need fresh grease), as well as the correct seat binder bolt.

This is a very attractive frameset, especially in French racing blue. Half way home on build with the included French threaded Campy bits. So tempting but realistically, even with a stretched top tube and longer stem, likely be cramped fitted.
Lucky someone will have a great bike here.
