Hi everybody
Just brought a used 2013 Caad10 105 last week and I'm loving it so far. Its my first serious road bike.
Anyways got a question for all the caad owners.
i was just cleaning my bike this evening and I noticed a scratch pattern on my right chainstay that looks kinda like oval/cylinder. It couldnt have been caused by a fall or leaning against something because its too perfect in shape. I was wondering whether Cannondale puts it on (for whatever reason that I cannot figure out) or somehow the previous owner caused it.
So I tried googling this and I came across a picture in a review of a 2014 caad10 and it kinda looks like something similar
If anyone can help me out that'll be great because this thing is driving me crazy

Please tell me this is the most amazing thing you've ever ridden. My local shop has one in my size on closeout (2k down from 3.2k...), and I'm trying to figure out what's going on. Cannondale's site doesn't have the Red version anymore, which makes me think that my be why.

Just wanted to add my 2013 CAAD10 105 I've owned since new. Just gave it a 10,000 mile re-fresh. My wife gave me a work stand for Christmas, so new cables and housing, cleaned up, lubed the noisy BB30, new cassette, Fulcrum Quattro wheels, new pedals, bar tape, and added a front Cygolite Dart flasher. I need warm weather so I'm outside riding it instead of spending money.

What is the difference between CAAD 12 and CAAD 8. So far I see the fork is slightly thinner and it has internal cabling. Anything else?

Frame material is the biggest, that equals to a decent weight difference.

Curous
Im considering a used CAAD 10. Would like to get folks feedback on why they prefer Cannondales. I've wanted one for years. Thanks.

The unseasonably warm NJ weather allowed me to get out for a quick ride this weekend. Just 11 miles but after not riding at all last year it felt nice to be out there again.
I still have to get water bottle cages, can't decide on green or black and I want to get new tires. I've always had GP4000's but after a few flats 2 summers ago I'm thinking of trying something new, just not sure what yet.
After I sold my CAAD10 I knew when I came back I was sticking with Cannondale, just wasn't sure if it would be a CAAD12 or Super Six Evo but with the deal I got on this bike the decision was pretty easy! Stayin' with the cult!

(Ignore the gatorade bottle, I just wanted to get out and ride so I took a bottle cage off my mountain bike and put it on there and just grabbed something from the fridge).

at 5'4", a 48 is probably too small. Try a 52?
