Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nope. Went walking(again) at the nature center. There's a spot that's popular for photography, even though all the trees in the background are dead wut Saw someone being photographed in a summery dress even though it was like 48F

We were hanging out near it a little later when a family was being photographed, and I think the daughter was giving me the eye. Would be a natural reaction on her part, given my slender cycling figure and stylish orange hoodie

Still no desire on my part to revisit the franchise. Is the main storyline any closer to be resolved, yet? The (lack of) progress on that front seemed to be showing borderline disdain for their audience/customers.

The only "new" game that I'm really interested in right now is Horizon Zero Dawn, now that it's finally come to PC. Still have Deus Ex:Mankind Divided and Dishonored 2 sitting in my Steam library, unplayed. I did finally 100% Skyrim on Steam last month, though.

Sporting a comfy, soft throw (that is not orange) while watching the game.

I don't even pay attention to the "main" storyline anymore (if by that you mean the modern interludes) - that was always the worst part of the franchise. Especially when you're in the mood to play AC and instead get to wander around in the main storyline and then go back into the Animus for a half hour of exposition. That's what makes me feel disregarded. That and their move towards action and away from the classic gameplay that peaked with Black Flag. This will be my last venture into the franchise, I think, but the era was just irresistible for me.

Next one I'm waiting for, honestly, is Lego Skywalker Saga. Delayed.

Their FB post has a little more info...

Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 "Big Boy" #4021 leads a westbound general manifest out of the west end of the yard in Cheyenne, Wyoming during the late 1950's. The overpass in the background is the Colorado & Southern's main line that terminated in Laurel/Billings, Montana. It remains active under BNSF Railway today.
