Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

lol "out the way" like its a pile of paperwork taking up space on your desk.

are you finding all these rare gems locally in NZ or are you ordering them from the farthest basements of the internets?

ha, well.. i love the process of getting all the right bits for a build. however, the process of waiting is hell, so any time a project is done, i feel relieved.

as for the parts, they are from all over the world. there are not that much vintage branded track bike parts in NZ.

Posing a "Beater" in that hard core beaten down industrial environment makes a cool photo.
