Found an old SunTour Uniglide rear wheel: What to do?

Happened upon a rear wheel at Goodwill today. SunTour IG hub, Araya 26X1.5 aluminum rim. Straight and bearing feel fine. But I think it's the older Uniglide cassette body - needs a threaded small cog. I'm more of a freewheel guy but for $7 so it came home with me

Is it better to sell it as is to someone who needs it or "upgrade' it with a Hyperglide cassette that I have and just keep it in stock until I find a frame that needs it?

Suntour hubs had a "microdrive" cassette hub body for their cassettes, but
it was not compatible with any of the shimano hyperglide cassettes.

OK, 10-4. So I'm probably not going to get far with this thing. Glad I didn't spend a ton.

All the parts recycle pretty well. Send it to the scrapyard. Takes a lot of steel to make a dollar, but the aluminum parts add up pretty quick.

It's useful as a complete rear wheel for a friction shifting setup. I ran a 26" townie like that for years, old Suntour XC pro 8spd wheel with a friction thumb shifter.

If you're bored and want a project, I probably have any Suntour accushift stuff you would need to actually run the thing indexed.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll first head down to the local bicycle salvage and see if I can find some appropriate cogs. A fixie sounds doable for an indoor project this summer.

Like 6 or 7 projects down my "list"! lol
