Go to a cobbler or leather supply shop and get leather black. (A small jar with a yellow label. Comes with an applicator.) It's a dye that is very black and does little else. Treat the leather otherwise just as you would. Dries quite quickly. Wear black shorts for a while. Won't hurt the leather/saddle at all. The current brown will be history. You can re-up the black any time.
