Record M.D. leather saddle

I can't find anything on Google or eBay about this saddle. It says Record M.D. on the sides, Record on the back, and nothing on the underside. Does anyone have any information on it?

I'm near-certain I've seen that saddle on a couple of all-original Italian bikes.

Quality not quite Brooks level, but would have come on an Italian pro bike.

Although there are some that will object to my language, that is an Italian knock-off of a Brooks saddle made in the 50s, 60s and quite possibly the 70s. I have one on my Cinelli.

That's not a bad way to describe it.......it's the "F" word ("fake") that disturbs a lot of us C&Vers here.....

I think "Brooks-style" would be the nicest description.
