In standard size within the thread, so without the pic enlarged, it took me more than a few squinting looks to figure out what was on the road. Sharp looking bags- they match the bar tape perfectly!
Where did you ride to and how many days?

My neighbor Gary showed me some gravel roads in Ulster County, NY that I didn't know about. The scenery is breathtaking. We did have a cloudburst, but we were able to shelter at a farm restaurant.

My family is heading out to the Seattle burbs to visit extended family in October and I am set on dragging everyone around to see as much PNW geography as possible.

Today I rode the "Cohutta Death March" in the Cohutta Mountains of North Georgia and South Central Tennessee.

The ride lives up to its name.

Another picture from sunday's ride, it was unusually cold I'm used to temperatures around 20 to 30°c all year, that morning was 5°c.

went for a short 8 mile ride yesterday. at around the half way point i decided to check out the local cell towers. climbed 587 feet over .8 of a mile on loose gravel to get to the top. awesome time, that hill sucked, cooked my brakes coming back down, can't wait to do it again.

Phone died right after this shot, didn't get a good shot of just how washed out the path was. Came up just above the bottom bracket.

i have a picture almost exactly like that.

i need to get back up there with my Salsa Journeyman. that trail made me want a fatter tire bike than the 700x30mm cyclocross tires.

Just did the Great Alleghany Passage from Pittsburgh to Cumberland and back. Sunday through Wednesday morning.
Sunday - almost 90 degrees, brutal humidity. Made it to Confluence, total was about 84 miles.
Monday - into Cumberland, MD. 63 miles, a good chunk in the rain.
Tuesday - 113 miles back to West Newton. Weather was crappy in Ohiopyle but for the rest was beautiful
Wednesday - 42 miles back into Pittsburgh

Was a brutal journey but well worth the agony. Not bad for a 53 year old Clydesdale.

Bombtrack's Hook EXT-C is a beast of a machine. She was happy all the time, me...not so much
