Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

What gravel ride are you looking forward to post COVID?

you ever do the Holy Roller route? Less gravel/dirt, but shorter drive. There’s some good gravel riding in Lockhart too.
Holey Roller was the last social thing I did before COVID. good times, but more and more of those roads are getting paved lately. I wonder how long they can continue to old that event before it just becomes another road route.

Yes and on mostly gravel! I still have to complete a new section between Kane and Emporiam to finish the whole thing as that original section was too much pavement, but just have not had a free weekend to get back up there. I had several great trips up there this summer with my sons for scouting.

At about 850 miles round trip it could be a great practice run for the Great Divide.

We had 19 riders that were coming in from Michigan to ride the Whiskey Rebellion 200k this year but had to postpone for 2021. The 200k was the most popular distance overall for signups surprisingly. I am planning to ride some of our route soon to see if we lost anything to the pavers this summer...
