Hello from Brooklyn New York!
Chicagoan here, then Hawaii, and now the BIG apple.
Love riding of all sorts. Cycling really is an amazing way to learn an area, meet people, and have fun along the way.
Im into ALL types of riding, gravel, trails, urban, fixed, and most times im dressed like a roadie. Even eyeing Bike Polo. Bought my first really, real nice bike last May (2019) and have put 9,000mi on the tarmac since. Into all things, training hard and learning the mechanics. Building up and restoring bikes now.
Anyone close to lower manhattan or downtown brooklyn feel free to hit me up. somewhere close to 200mi/week.

Lower Manhattan’s my natural habitat, born and raised.
We churn out similar mileage, too.
Stuck out in the ‘burbs for the time being or I‘d be glad to ride with you.
You can give some of the local cycling clubs a look to see what they’re up to, although I am not sure what is happening there, if anything.
Let me know if you need a list of local clubs/organizations.
