Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Went to a classic racing festival on the weekend. It was warm and sunny. Lots of interesting old racing cars going round the track at speed.

Fast and loud muscle cars

E-type leading a Mistral sports car.

Bambina re-powered with a Yamaha motorbike engine.

Classic saloon cars.

I think our FiOS box is burning out HDMI inputs on the TV one by one. We are down to two since last night.

What are the initial symptoms? I have FiOS and have been having a problem.

Intermittent "fritzing" of the image, leading to complete failure. We had Verizon come in after the first input failed and they blamed it on a power surge or some BS.

Hmmm. The picture on the downstairs TV randomly cuts off for a fraction of a second sometimes. It's not the connection to the house because it never happens when I watch the upstairs TV. I am going to pop in a DVD since the player is connected via different cables and see if it happens. I want to rule out the TV as the problem as it's somewhat old. Maybe like 9 years old, but the picture is still terrific. For what I paid for it, it had better be.

I tried calling Verizon weeks ago about the problem. You can never get anyone on the phone. You are forced to set up a time for them to call you back. I did that. When the time came, I got a robo calll saying no one was available to speak with me. WTH?

Thought I was going to get a 2014 madone today. Guy one craigslist wants to trade for weights and equipment. Offered what I had and thought he was interested but he ended up saying no.
Don’t really need the bike, but I don’t use my gym equipment at all, currently. Was going to make it my rain bike. 10 speed tiagra, but it has a 105 rear derailer?

Is your Gym equipment Tiagra level? Maybe he wants a Dura-Ace Gym.

It’s a bench, squat rack, mats, weight stand, barbell, dumbbells, adjustable* and 200 pounds of weight plates. I think probably closer to 250.

The 105 rear was a typical "upgrade" from the dealer when new.
I think you'd be giving too much for that bike.
