Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My theory . . . companies had trouble getting threaded BB's right, so they gave us press fit. SRAM couldn't turn out a decent front derailleur to save their collective souls, so they promoted 1X. Champion . . . it's the zipper. The solution to a better zipper isn't millions of dollars of R&D. Just get rid of the zipper and call it an innovation!

You don't need a zipper on your jersey when you are not a person, but rather a skeleton with skin stretched over it. Dan Martin's arms look photoshopped.

For all you guys/gals having trouble undressing, try taking your jersey off by pulling it up as high as possible on your torso to start, then reaching behind you to grab the bottom and pulling it over your head and arms at the same time. As a heavy sweater and someone who wears snug fitting t-shirts at times (running, base layer, etc.) this is the best way to get them off. Same with 3/4 zip jerseys of which I own a few. And you don't risk ripping seams trying to pull your arms inside first.
