Addiction LXXX

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That’s suck indy, hope nothing serious comes of it.

Could dehydration be an issue? I know after a long ride if I don’t hydrate popular I will find that when I stand up I feel like light headed, and sometimes looks like a black out. Only happens after longer rides, and If I don’t make a conscious effort to drink more water.

Just remember that the prior probability landscape is dominated by that valve.

While I have never fallen, I have times where I experience dizziness when I stand and start walking after eating a larger meal. It especially occurs when the walking requires some exertion such as stairs or when carrying things. Comes on pretty quickly, then I sit for a few minutes, and then everything is good and I can resume what I was doing.

I had an adrenalectomy a few years ago due to Conn's syndrome, and since then I experience BP swings from time to time with it dropping pretty low. Have had lots of tests, and so far nobody seems to know why.
Yes, and I didn’t have a lot to eat. Also, I had been walking for about 4 blocks, and they weren’t hard blocks.

I don’t remember being pretty alert. I don’t remember at what stage I woke up, and I think I went back to sleep or something afterwards from time to time. I was told I was found in a parking lot, but there’s no parking lot on the block I was told I was found. I think there might be an entrance/exit to a garage around the corner from where I thought I lost consciousness. I think I sort of remember being undressed in the hospital, but I can’t be sure.My glasses were broken and were covered in blood. My reusable mask and hat were also bloody. Don’t remember any of that.

Oh, boy. This was not a simple faint from low BP. Your story points to amnesia for time during which you were conscious, possibly before and definitely after, you were found down.

This is a difficult situation to piece together. It could be a heart/BP thing complicated by a concussion from the fall or it could be a blood clot that blocked an artery at the base of the brain transiently with loss of consciousness and effects on memory: not unheard of. It is also pretty common for those events to be accompanied by vertigo. A seizure is a possibility, but I would still be concerned about what caused it. The negative MRI is a good sign in any case, but says very little about the cause of the event.

I certainly hope you are in good and active hands.

I was certain it would. November 4. My wife was telling me of incidents where the health professional tells the patient they have Covid, and the response is that it can't be. Covid doesn't exist.

No, it was predicted to no longer be a topic of discussion after the election.
